Russian Defense Ministry: 10 Ukrainian Neptun missiles, 1 ATACMS, 482 drones downed over past week

MOSCOW. Sep 27 (Interfax) - The Russian Armed Forces have downed one ATACMS missile, ten Neptun long-range missiles and 482 drones of the Ukrainian army over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

"Over the past week, air defense forces have shot down a U.S.-made ATACMS tactical missile, ten Neptun long-range guided missiles, two U.S.-made HARM anti-radiation missiles, two S-200 air defense missiles modified for use against ground targets, 20 French-made Hammer guided air-launched bombs, 39 U.S.-made HIMARS and Czech-made Vampire rockets, and 482 fixed-wing drones, including 164 outside the special military operation zone," it said.

The Russian Black Sea Fleet's air force destroyed six Ukrainian unmanned boats, it said.

"Sixty-six Ukrainian soldiers have surrendered on the contact line over the week," it said.

"In total, 646 planes, 283 helicopters, 32,288 unmanned aerial vehicles, 579 air defense missile systems, 18,434 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,469 multiple rocket launchers, 15,295 artillery systems and mortars, and 26,613 special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation," it said.
