Iskander missile strikes Ukrainian ammo train in Nikolayev region - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - A Russian Iskander missile has struck an unloading train with the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ammunition in the Nikolayev region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.

"An Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile system has struck the unloading site of a train in Kazanka in the Nikolayev region (45 kilometers west of Krivoi Rog in the Dnepropetrovsk region)," the ministry said.

"The strike destroyed 12 cars loaded with ammunition, including that of the Western make," it said.

The ministry released footage of the missile strike on the unloading train in Kazanka.
