Conscripts drafted to Russian Armed Forces not to be sent to special military operation zone in new Russian territories - General Staff

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - Conscripts drafted to the Russian Armed Forces this fall will not be sent to the special military operation zone in the new Russian territories, deputy head of the Russian General Staff's Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate Vladimir Tsimlyansky said.

"Conscripts will not be sent on missions to the special military operation zone in the new regions," Tsimlyansky said at a press briefing on Monday.

A specific feature of the fall draft, which begins on October 1, "is the possibility of appealing decisions of draft commissions by conscripts in the pre-action procedure," he said.

"It is now possible to file a complaint with a draft commission of a constituent territory of the Russian Federation online via the Gosuslugi website. This can also be done in writing, on paper, during an in-person visit of a citizen to a multifunctional center providing public and municipal services," Tsimlyansky said.
