MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered that 133,000 conscripts be drafted to the Russian Armed Forces in October-December 2024.
The order was published on the official website of legal information.
"To draft 133,000 Russian citizens aged from 18 to 30, who are not in reserve and are eligible for [...] military service from October 1 to December 31, 2024," the order said.
The same presidential order discharged soldiers, sailors, sergeants and warrant officers whose military service by conscription has expired.
The order dated September 30 took effect on the publishing date.
