MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - The Russian Armed Forces have carried out strikes on troops and military hardware of 14 Ukrainian brigades in the Kursk region and on the Ukrainian army's reserves in the Sumy region, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Army aircraft and artillery fire struck concentrations of troops and hardware of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 21st, 22nd, 41st and 61st Mechanized Brigades, the 17th Tank Brigade, the 80th and 95th Air Assault Brigades, the 1st and 17th National Guard Brigades, the 36th Marine Brigade and the 103rd, 112th, 116th and 129th Territorial Defense Brigades near Bogdanovka, Guyevo, Daryino, Zelyony Shlyakh, Lyubimovka, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Mirny, Novy Put, Orlovka, Plekhovo, Pravda, Russkoye Porechnoye, Tolsty Lug, Cherkasskaya Konopelka, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, and Yuzhny," the statement said.
In addition, Russian tactical aircraft and missile forces carried out strikes on the areas of concentration and reserves of the 21st, 41st, 47th and 115th Mechanized Brigades and the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian army, the 1st National Guard Brigade, and the 101st and 103rd Territorial Defense Brigades near Belovody, Bruski, Budivelnoye, Glukhov, Klevan, Kucherovka, Mirlogi, Obody, Pavlovka, Rechki, Studenok and Yastrebshchina in the Sumy region, it said.
