MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - Russian Sukhoi Su-35S fighter aircraft have performed a patrolling mission over border areas of the Kursk region to protect bomber and attack aircraft striking Ukrainian targets, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"While performing combat duties, the crews of Su-35S multirole fighters patrolled said area to provide coverage to bomber and attack aircraft, as well as army helicopters, carrying out airstrikes upon the Ukrainian Armed Forces' military sites and equipment," it said.
Earlier on Tuesday, the ministry circulated a video showing fighter planes in flight and their return to the airfield.
