MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - Russia's telecoms regulator Roskomnadzor has said that it has blocked the online messaging service Discord.
"Access to the messenger Discord is restricted for failure to comply with Russian laws, adherence to which is necessary for preventing any use of the messenger for terrorist and extremist purposes, for recruiting citizens to carry out them [acts of terror], for sale of narcotic drugs, [and] for publishing illicit information," the regulator said in a statement received by Interfax.
