VORONEZH. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Over 300 people have been injured in the border areas in Russia's Kursk region since Ukrainian troops invaded there, the Kursk administration's press service said following a press briefing at the operational headquarters' information center.
"The regional Health Ministry said that 308 people, including 11 children, have been injured in the Ukrainian aggression in the Kursk region since August 6. Twenty-three people, including one child, are hospitalized," it said.
In total, 156 employees of the Russian National Disaster Medicine Service continue to work in the region. Six medical institutions in the border areas suspended routine medical care. Injured local residents were sent to other medical institutions.
In total, 8,129 people, including 1,578 children, have been placed in 115 temporary accommodation centers in the Kursk region.
