MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax) - NATO committed almost 21 billion euro in military assistance to Ukraine in H1, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at a press conference on Wednesday.
"I can announce today that NATO allies committed 20.9 billion euros in military assistance to Ukraine during the first half of 2024," Rutte said.
"We are firmly on track to delivering the 40 billion pledged for the coming year," he said.
In early October, Rutte paid his first visit as NATO secretary general to Ukraine. He had talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about further NATO assistance to Kiev.
