MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - The Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria has information that ringleaders of the Jabhat al-Nusra, also known as Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (a terrorist group banned in Russia), are preparing to use toxins for provocations.
"There is information that the terrorists have conspired with members of the White Helmets pseudo-humanitarian organization to simulate the use of toxins in localities in the south of the Idlib de-escalation area," deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Capt. 1st rank Oleg Ignasyuk said.
The staged incident will aim to accuse Syrian government forces of indiscriminative strikes and use of toxins against civilians, Ignasyuk said.
