MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the situation in Ukraine in detail during their informal meeting on Sunday, and discussed the Middle East situation at their talks on Monday, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"As far as I know, the Ukrainian crisis was discussed quite substantively over the informal dinner in Novo-Ogaryovo yesterday, and today the foreign ministers of both countries presented their vision of the situation in the Middle East. This issue was discussed in great detail, and the presidents added something on the matter," Ushakov told journalists.

"Ukraine was discussed briefly today," he said.
