Putin notes non-opportunistic nature of Russian-Chinese relations

KAZAN. Oct 22 (Interfax) - Russian-Chinese relations are of non-opportunistic nature and have become an exemplar of how relations should be forged in today's world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"In the past 75 years, Russian-Chinese relations reached the level of comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction. It is with absolute certainty that we can maintain that they have become an exemplar of how relations between states should be built up in the modern world. Our multifaceted cooperation is of equal, mutually beneficial, and absolutely non-opportunistic nature," Putin said during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
