"A Boeing P-8 Poseidon anti-submarine patrol aircraft of the coalition dangerously approached a Su-35 of the Russian Aerospace Forces on a scheduled flight over the eastern Mediterranean," Ignasyuk said at a press briefing on Monday.
"The Russian pilot demonstrated high professional skills and took timely measures to avoid a collision," he said.
Additionally, "four violations of the deconfliction protocols dated December 9, 2019, by flights of coalition unmanned aerial vehicles uncoordinated with the Russian side were recorded in the past 24 hours," Ignasyuk said.

Positions of Syrian government forces were twice attacked by the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group, which is banned in Russia, in the Aleppo province within the Idlib de-escalation area over the day, he said.
"Two improvised bombs dropped from a drone, which terrorists launched towards positions of Syrian government forces near Ernaz in the Aleppo province, injured a Syrian soldier," Ignasyuk said.
