PYONGYANG. Oct 29 (Interfax) - Russian Ambassador to North Korea Alexander Matsegora has met with North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, who is on her way to Moscow as the head of a national delegation on an official visit, at the Pyongyang International Airport, the embassy said on Telegram.
"On October, 28, Ambassador Alexander Matsegora met with DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, who is on her way to Moscow as the head of a national delegation on an official visit, at the Pyongyang International Airport. The DPRK foreign minister travels to the Russian Federation within the framework of the strategic dialogue, which our heads of state decided to intensify at their summit in June 2024," the embassy said.
Consistent with the letter and the spirit of the new fundamental treaty, the sides will hold regular enhanced consultations on bilateral relations and global political issues on top diplomatic level and between respective deputy foreign ministers and department heads, it said.
"The ambassador wished comrade Choe Son Hui a fruitful trip and good impressions," the embassy said.
