ABU DHABI. Oct 29 (Interfax) - It is important to reintegrate Syria into the Middle Eastern environment, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said.
"During a working trip to the United Arab Emirates on October 28-29, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu discussed the situation in the Middle Eastern region with the country's top political leadership. It remains extremely complicated and tense," the council said on Tuesday.
"It is important to continue Syria's active reintegration into the regional environment, thus facilitating this country's full-scale return to the Arab family and stimulating investments in the Syrian economy from other Gulf countries," the council quoted Shoigu as saying.
