Russian FM Lavrov arrives in Minsk, Belarus to take part in Eurasian security conference

MINSK. Oct 30 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Minsk on Wednesday to take part in the International Conference on Eurasian Security, the Russian Embassy in Belarus said.

The Second Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security will take place on October 31- November 1. Representatives and experts from more than 30 countries, including the CIS member states, and international organizations are expected to participate in it.

In particular, CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev is among the guests.

The strengthening of international security, the forming of Eurasian security amid the world order crisis and military and political conflicts between the key players on the international arena will be discussed at the conference.
