Russian Defense Ministry estimates Ukraine's losses in Kursk sector at over 300 troops in past 24 hours

MOSCOW. Oct 31 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost over 300 troops in Russia's Kursk area in the past 24 hours, bringing their total losses over the entire time of the fighting there to over 28,600 service members, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces' losses [in the Kursk sector] have amounted to over 300 people in the past 24 hours. Four armored fighting vehicles, eight artillery pieces, four mortars, an Israeli-made RADA radar station, and nine automobiles have also been destroyed," it said.

"The enemy has lost a total of over 28,600 service members, 180 tanks, 101 infantry fighting vehicles, 106 armored personnel carriers, 1,059 other armored fighting vehicles, 768 automobiles, and 248 artillery pieces over the entire time of the fighting in the Kursk sector," it said.
