Moldovan election neither democratic nor fair - Kremlin

MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - The Moldovan presidential election was not fair, as a large portion of the Moldovan population had no chance to vote, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We can judge this election objectively, speaking of hundreds of thousands of Moldovan citizens residing in Russia. We can confirm that these citizens were not given an opportunity to use their vote and to cast their ballot. A very large portion of the national population had no chance to vote, unlike Moldovan citizens working in Europe," Peskov told reporters, speaking of the Moldovan election outcome.

"Naturally, that could not but affect the outcome of the election, which cannot be called clean. The election was neither democratic nor fair. It was full of election manipulations," Peskov said.
