Russian Defense Ministry: Ukrainian forces lose over 30,000 troops in Kursk sector to date (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Ukrainian forces have lost over 30,000 troops in the Kursk sector to date, including over 250 in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

"The enemy has lost more than 30,050 troops in the Kursk sector since the beginning of hostilities," the ministry said.

Ukrainian forces lost more than 250 troops over the past day, it said.

Eight infantry vehicles, six armored combat vehicles, two artillery systems, two mortars and eight trucks were destroyed over the day, the ministry said.

Since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk sector, Ukrainian forces have lost 184 tanks, 115 infantry vehicles, 107 armored personnel carriers, 1,088 armored combat vehicles, 817 trucks, 261 artillery systems, 40 multiple rocket launchers, 11 air defense launchers, seven transporter-loaders, 59 EW stations, 12 counterbattery radars, four air defense radars, and 26 engineering and other vehicles, it said.

"The operation aimed to destroy detachments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is ongoing," the ministry said.
