MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has not ruled out communication between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump before the inauguration ceremony.
Journalists asked Peskov on Thursday whether such communication was ruled out.
"Why? It's not ruled out. He said he would call Putin before the inauguration. These are his words," Peskov said.
He was also asked whether the Russian presidential administration or the Russian Foreign Ministry had contacted the Trump campaign after the election.
"No, why would we contact them?" Peskov said.
