Caracas, Moscow should further strengthen mutually beneficial relationship - Maduro

MADRID. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has spoken of the need to bring the Moscow-Caracas relationship to a new level.

"Venezuela and Russia have an extensive, positive and fruitful agenda, and the cooperation between the two countries should be developed further, putting this agenda into practice," Maduro said.

"Russia and Venezuela share the hopes for a better world without hegemonism, threats, sanctions or oppression," the EFE news agency quoted Maduro as saying on Friday.

The two countries saw their delegations meet earlier this week to sign agreements concerning technology, energy, education, trade, finance and tourism, EFE said.
