MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - Russian forces have taken control of Kolesnikovka in the Kharkov region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Units from the western group of forces have taken control of Kolesnikovka in the Kharkov region," the ministry said in a statement.
The central group of forces kept moving deeper into Ukrainian defense lines and repelled eight Ukrainian counterattacks over the past day, the statement said.
Units from the western group of forces hit troops and hardware of seven Ukrainian brigades near Kupyansk, Kucherovka, Zagryzovo, Kopanki and Ostrovskoye in the Kharkov region, and Yampolovka and Torskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic, it said.
In that sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 530 troops, an infantry vehicle, six trucks, six artillery systems, a Kvertus EW station and two field ammo depots, it said.
"Units from the central group of forces kept moving deeper into enemy defense lines and hit troops and hardware of the 53rd, 132nd and 151st Mechanized Brigades, 142nd Infantry Brigade, and 68th Jaeger Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 38th Marine Brigade and 12th National Guard Brigade near Dzerzhinsk, Shcherbinovka, Dimitrov, Udachnoye, Voznesenka, Novoalexeyevka, Novodmitrovka and Novoselidovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. Eight counterattacks by assault groups of the 93rd, 100th and 117th Mechanized Brigades, 152nd Jaeger Brigade, 5th Assault Brigade, and 49th Assault Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 35th Marine Brigade, and the Lyut Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian National Police were repelled," the ministry's statement said.
In that sector, Ukrainian forces lost up to 505 troops, a tank, two MaxxPro armored combat vehicles, two Kozak armored vehicles, five pickup trucks, two artillery systems, and an AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery radar over the day, it said.
"Units from the eastern group of forces took better lines and positions and hit detachments of the 33rd Mechanized Brigade, 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade, 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 37th Marine Brigade, 117th, 127th and 128th Territorial Defense Brigades, and 21st and 23rd National Guard Brigades near Sukhiye Yaly, Velikaya Novosyolka, Zelyonoye Pole and Rovnopol in the Donetsk People's Republic and Temirovka in the Zaporozhye region. The enemy lost up to 145 troops, an armored combat vehicle, and three trucks," it said.
"Units from the southern group of forces improved their frontlines and hit detachments of the 24th, 27th and 30th Mechanized Brigades and 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 35th Marine Brigade, 124th Territorial Defense Brigade, and 1st National Guard Brigade near Seversk, Slavyansk, Zvanovka, Minkovka, Nikolayevka, Chasov Yar, Predtechino, Konstantinovka and Kurakhovo of the Donetsk People's Republic. Four counterattacks by assault groups of the 54th Mechanized Brigade, 46th and 81st Airmobile Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and 119th Territorial Defense Brigade were repelled," it said.
In that sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 540 troops, an armored combat vehicle, two trucks, two artillery systems, four EW stations, an AN/TPQ-48 counterbattery radar, and two field ammo depots, it said.
Units from the northern group of forces operating in the Kharkov sector hit detachments of four Ukrainian brigades near Volchansk, Olkhovatka and Alexandrovka in the Kharkov region. Ukrainian forces lost up to 95 troops, two trucks, and a D-30 howitzer, the statement said.
"Units from the Dnepr group of forces hit troops and hardware of the 65th and 110th Mechanized Brigades and 141st Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 103rd and 126th Territorial Defense Brigades near Novodanilovka in the Zaporozhye region, and Olgovka, Lvovo, Nikolskoye and Kamyshany in the Kherson region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 65 troops and four trucks," it said.
