MOSCOW. Nov 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost over 33,670 troops and 213 tanks in Russia's Kursk region, including 420 troops over the past 24 hours alone, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces' losses [in the Kursk sector] in the past 24 hours have amounted to 420 service members, as well as two U.S.-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, a German-made Marder infantry fighting vehicle, four other armored fighting vehicles, four automobiles, a German-made PzH-2000 155mm self-propelled artillery system, a 152mm Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, a D-20 artillery gun, and three D-30 122mm howitzers," it said.
Another 24 Ukrainian soldiers have surrendered, it said.
"Over the entire time of the fighting in the Kursk sector, the enemy has lost over 33,670 service members, 213 tanks, 140 infantry fighting vehicles, 115 armored personnel carriers, 1,175 other armored fighting vehicles, 958 automobiles, 291 artillery pieces, 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 U.S.-made HIMARS and six MLRS, and 13 air defense missile launchers," it said.
Ukraine's overall materiel losses in the Kursk sector also include seven transporting and loading vehicles, 66 electronic warfare stations, 13 weapon locating radars, four air defense radars, and 27 items of engineering and other vehicles, it said.
