NEW DELHI. Nov 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to visit India, but there are no precise dates just yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Indian news agency ANI.
"We are looking forward to it, we will figure out the dates of President Putin to India," Peskov said in a video interview in English.
As to relations between Beijing and New Delhi, Peskov said that Russia, as a partner of both China and India, was ready to contribute to the improvement of their relations.
Speaking of India's possible role in settling the Ukraine conflict, Peskov said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in contact with both the Russian and Ukrainian sides. "He is able to receive first-hand information" and to assess the situation objectively, Peskov said.
