ASTANA. Nov 28 (Interfax) - The heads of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries reaffirmed their readiness to take joint steps to prevent challenges and threats to collective security at their summit in Astana, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
"The results of the meeting reaffirmed our determination to act jointly to avert challenges and threats to collective security," Tokayev said at a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Astana.
At their narrow-format meeting, the CSTO leaders exchanged views on key problems facing international and regional security and discussed the main results of the organization's work under Kazakhstan's presidency in 2024, he said.
