TBILISI. Dec 6 (Interfax) - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze should resign, as he "has failed to settle the crisis," Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said.
"The prime minister who has failed to settle the crisis [...] must be replaced, and I should schedule elections two weeks after this prime minister resigns," Zourabichvili said in an interview with Georgia's Channel One.
"This is the compromise, depolarization, a way out for Georgia, stability, peace and the future, which will be unshakable, free and democratic," she said.
As to whether one should wait for a final report of the OSCE/ODIHR mission on the Georgian parliamentary elections, Zourabichvili said, "It is unclear who should wait for that report."
