MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - Possible steps to lower the mobilization age in Ukraine will not change the situation on the battlefield, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"I believe that lowering the mobilization age to 18 will be another crime. This is nothing less than a crime, because one may lower it [the mobilization age] to 14 years, as it was in Nazi Germany, may create a Hitlerjugend, but it will not change the situation on the battlefield. It is clear to everyone," Putin said at an expanded Defense Ministry board meeting on Monday.
