Russia's FSB releases video with confessions of detainees in terrorist attack conspiracy against head of defense plant in Moscow region

MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The Federal Security Service (FSB)'s public relations center has released a video with confessions of the persons detained for plotting to blow up the car of a defense plant head in the Moscow region.

A detainee said on the video he "was detained while preparing to blow up a car, which had been under surveillance."

Another detainee said that the assembled bomb "was in juice boxes" and he was tasked with planting it under the driver's seat.

The FSB materials indicate that detained minors were conducting surveillance on the vehicle.

The mastermind was apprehended in the Sverdlovsk region and brought to Moscow, the video said.

The preparations were coordinated via messengers.

The FSB said earlier on Wednesday that a terrorist attack on the head of a defense plant in the Moscow region manufacturing products for the Russian Defense Ministry had been prevented and seven suspects were detained.
