LPR head suspends curfew for New Year holidays

LUGANSK. Dec 26 (Interfax) - The curfew in certain districts of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), except for those along the frontline, will be suspended for the New Year and Christmas holidays, LPR head Leonid Pasechnik said.

"I decided to suspend the curfew for the New Year and Christmas holidays in districts where the military situation allows us to do so. A respective order was signed," Pasechnik said on Telegram.

The curfew will be suspended from 11 p.m. on December 31 to 4 a.m. on January 2, as well as on the night of January 6, he said.

"For security reasons, the curfew will not be suspended and will remain in force in the Kremennaya, Svatovo and Troitskoye municipal districts and the towns of Lisichansk, Pervomaisk, Rubezhnoye and Severodonetsk," Pasechnik said.

The curfew is in effect in the LPR between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m.
