Ukrainian drones attempt attack on TurkStream compressor station - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Jan 13 (Interfax) - Ukrainian drones attempted an attack on a compressor station in the Krasnodar Territory providing gas supply through the TurkStream pipeline on Saturday, January 11, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday, adding that all nine drones were downed and there were no casualties or damage.

"The Kiev regime seeking to halt gas supply to European countries attempted to attack the infrastructure of the Russkaya compressor station in Gai-Kodzor in the Krasnodar Territory, providing gas supply through the TurkStream pipeline by nine fixed-wing drones on January 11, 2025," the ministry said.

Air defense downed all drones, it said.

"There are no casualties among the compressor station personnel and no damage. Debris of a drone inflicted insignificant damage on the building and equipment of a gas metering station on the grounds of the Russkaya compressor station," the ministry said.
