MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - The Russian military said that it has destroyed a bridge near the Konstantinopol community, west of Kurakhovo, which was used to supply Ukrainian units in Donbass.
"Crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft successfully struck a reinforced concrete bridge near the Konstantinopol community [west of Kurakhovo] using three FAB-500 aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules, thus obstructing the possibility of ammunition delivery and rotation of military personnel in Ukrainian units in this sector," the ministry said in a statement.
The Russian Defense Ministry released footage of the strike on the bridge with three FAB-500 aerial bombs on Thursday.
The ministry said on January 6 that the town of Kurakhovo, a major logistics center for the Ukrainian army, had been completely taken over by Russia and that Russian troops had gained operations space.
