MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - Ukraine undertook another attempt to attack Russia's Belgorod region with six ATACMS tactical missiles on January 16, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday, pledging to retaliate against the attack.
"Another attempt to fire six U.S.-made ATACMS tactical missiles at facilities in the Belgorod region from the Ukrainian territory was made yesterday, on January 16," the ministry said.
"All missiles were downed in air defense combat. There are no casualties or damage. The Russian Defense Ministry will retaliate against the strike," it said.
