MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - Russian state space corporation Roscosmos and NASA have signed a supplementary agreement to the contract on cross-flights to the International Space Station (ISS), changing the crews in 2025-2026, the Russian company said in a statement on Friday.
"The prime and backup crews of the long-duration expeditions scheduled for 2025-2026 have been changed following the signing of a third supplement to the agreement between Roscosmos and NASA on Russian cosmonauts' flights onboard U.S. Crew Dragon spaceships and U.S. astronauts' flights onboard Russian Soyuz-MS spaceships under the ISS program," Roscosmos said.
"NASA astronaut Christopher Williams has replaced Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov as a member of the prime crew of the 74th long-duration expedition [due to fly to the ISS onboard the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft in the fall of 2025], which also includes Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikayev," it said.
Platonov received a seat on the U.S. Crew-11 mission, scheduled to fly to the ISS in H2 2025, it said.
"Instead of Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Korsakov, Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina has been assigned to the prime crew of the 75th ISS expedition [due to leave for the ISS aboard the Soyuz MS-29 spaceship in the summer of 2026], which also includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov. NASA astronaut Anil Menon Samoilenko will take Kikina's former seat aboard this spacecraft," the statement said.
Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev has been included in the U.S. Crew-12 mission that is to be launched in H1 2026, it said.
