MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - Russian courts convicted about 500 Ukrainian troops in 2024, Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary Alexander Grebenkin said on Friday.
"About 500 members of Ukrainian armed units were convicted last year alone, including about 60 sentenced to life imprisonment," the Russian Security Council's press service quoted Grebenkin as saying.
All crimes of Ukrainian forces against Russian citizens are documented and investigated by Russian law enforcement agencies, he said.
"The office of the Russian Security Council and its working bodies are coordinating the activity of law enforcement agencies, so that everyone, including perpetrators of criminal orders and the officials who gave those orders, stand trial eventually," Grebenkin said.
