MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - Moscow hopes for a comprehensive discussion of every national security concern, including NATO enlargement, in its dialogue with the United States, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"All concerns about our national security are well known. Our stance is consistent, and everyone knows it. Of course, all aspects of security on the European continent, especially the aspects concerning our state, the Russian Federation, should be discussed in a comprehensive manner. We are hoping that will be so," Peskov told the press.
He was asked in the context of the phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump whether Russia's demands laid down in the draft treaty on security guarantees, submitted to Washington in 2021 and concerning non-enlargement of NATO remained valid.
