MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - Moscow will host an international meeting of high representatives on security at the end of May 2025, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said.
He invited a delegation from Myanmar to take part in the meeting.
"I look forward to participation of a high-ranking delegation from Myanmar in the 13th international meeting of high security representatives in Moscow on May 27-29," Shoigu said while meeting with Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing of Myanmar.
He also invited Myanmar officials to take part in the upcoming celebrations of Victory Day in Russia.
"This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. This is also quite a significant date for the people of Myanmar who heroically fought against Japanese militarism," Shoigu said.
"We expect a Myanmar delegation and parade detail to take part in the ceremonial events in Moscow on May 9," he said.
