MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - Russia is deeply concerned about cases of violence in Syria and says they should stop as soon as possible, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"As to the situation in Syria, we cannot but be concerned about the cases of violence that happen there. Many countries in the world and international organizations, including the UN, share this concern," Peskov told the press on Monday.
"We believe that the issue should be discussed immediately and, most importantly, everything should be done for eradicating such cases of violence as soon as possible," he said.
