MINSK. March 12 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Armed Forces have currently reached a peak in their combat preparedness, First Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Muraveiko said.
"The Belarusian army has reached a peak in enhancing its combat preparedness at the present time. Military units and formations are doing active combat work virtually at all ranges and areas of terrain," the ministry quoted Muraveiko as saying.
Staffs are prepared for performing their duties, and this process is going on particularly intensively, he said.
"Having assessed modern processes and the way modern military conflicts are waged, we've concluded that comprehensive training is the best way to enhance our Armed Forces' combat capability," he said.
Comprehensive training is based on the latest record of military conflicts and latest achievements, which are being actively implemented in the Belarusian Armed Forces' combat practice, he said.
