Moscow does not want ceasefire, interested in lasting settlement with Ukraine - presidential aide

MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - Moscow does not want a temporary ceasefire, instead, it is interested in a lasting settlement of the Ukraine conflict, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"We believe that our objective is a long-term peaceful settlement, this is what seek, a peaceful settlement, which takes lawful interests of our country and our known concerns into account. I do not think anyone needs steps that simulate peaceful actions in this situation," Ushakov said in an interview with the Rossiya-1 television channel (VGTRK)
