VORONEZH. March 13 (Interfax) - Over 140 people have been evacuated from regained territories in the Sudzha district of the Kursk region, the region's acting governor Alexander Khinshtein said.
"According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, over 140 people were evacuated as of 1 p.m., some of them were immediately picked up by relatives, and others were taken to a temporary accommodation center. Those accommodated at the center are provided with beds, food and humanitarian packages. Lost documents are being re-issued," Khinshtein said on Telegram on Thursday.
Multifunctional center employees are accepting applications for payments, to which residents of border districts are entitled, at the temporary accommodation center, he said.
