MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has confirmed an invitation to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to attend the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9, saying that it will be preceded by a forum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War Victory in Volgograd, which a lot of foreign guests are expected to attend.
"We do look forward to seeing you on May 9, and before that, another big forum devoted to the end of the Great Patriotic War is planned in Volgograd, where a lot of other counterparts from other countries are expected to be present," Putin said at the start of his talks with Lukashenko on Thursday.
