MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - European leaders' wish to militarize Europe is a dangerous trend, which neither facilitates a detente in relations with Moscow nor helps rebuild an atmosphere of mutual trust, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Militarization of Europe is a dangerous trend, which certainly in no way brings us closer to detente or to the restoration of an atmosphere of mutual trust. Nor does it add stability in Europe," Peskov told journalists.
