MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - Preparations for Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India are in progress, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"President of Russia Vladimir Putin has accepted the invitation from the head of the Indian government. The visit by the head of the Russian state to the Republic of India is being prepared," Lavrov said in a video address to the participants in the 'Russia and India: Towards a New Bilateral Agenda' conference in Moscow on Thursday.
Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said earlier that Putin would visit India in 2025.
