Russian, Chinese FMs to hold talks in Moscow - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW/BEIJING. March 28 (Interfax) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Moscow and hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on April 1, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

"The foreign ministers of Russia and China will discuss bilateral relations, including high-level and summit contacts, and pressing items on the global agenda, including prospects for settling the Ukraine crisis," the ministry said in a statement on its website.

Wang will arrive in Russia on March 31 on a three-day visit, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday for its part.

"At the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Russia from March 31 to April 2," the statement said.
