MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - Russia and the United States are discussing rare earths projects, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) General Director, Special Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign States Kirill Dmitriev told the newspaper Izvestia.
"Rare earths are an important cooperation area and, of course, we have started discussing various kinds of rare earths and projects in Russia," Dmitriev said.
In his words, some U.S. companies have taken interest in the projects.
