Russian doctors helping quake victims in Myanmar

MOSCOW. April 1 (Interfax) - Specialists from the Russian Disaster Medicine Center are helping quake victims in Myanmar, the Russian Health Ministry said.

"Specialists from the Russian Health Ministry's Federal Disaster Medicine Center are helping quake victims in Mandalay, Myanmar," the ministry said on Telegram.

The team of specialists has all the necessary equipment to provide medical assistance, it said.

"The specialists are experienced in providing medical assistance in natural and man-made emergencies both inside and outside the country. The team includes infectious disease specialists, traumatologists-orthopedists and anesthesiologists-resuscitators," the ministry said.
