MINSK. April 14 (Interfax) - NATO warplanes have markedly intensified their activity on the western border of Belarus, the Belarusian state-run television channel CTV said on Sunday, citing the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
"We can see that aerial surveillance on our western border has markedly intensified," the ministry said in a statement.
"The number of flights made from airbases in the Baltic countries and Poland rises to 12 on certain days," it said.
"NATO tactical aircraft perform up to 50 flights in our direction when the West holds exercises," it said.
