Putin, Xi to discuss Ukraine, Russian-U.S. relations at one-on-one meeting on May 8 - Kremlin aide Ushakov

MOSCOW. May 6 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will discuss Ukraine and Moscow-Washington relations at one-on-one talks on May 8, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"Then [after the official breakfast], the presidents will have a one-on-one meeting and they will discuss the matters they deem necessary to discuss. The most important issues will be exactly what will be discussed in this one-on-one conversation, including the Ukraine issue and Russian-U.S. relations. Everything you can imagine," Ushakov said.

Along with the traditional talks in the narrow and expanded formats, Putin and Xi are expected to have a one-on-one tea party, he said.

"During this so-called tea party, the most important, key matters of strategic interaction between our countries and the most delicate, sensitive issues will be discussed," Ushakov said.
