Belarus signs roadmap for military aircraft maintenance with Russia

MINSK. May 22 (Interfax) - The Belarusian State Authority for Military Industry and the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) signed a roadmap for military aircraft maintenance on the sidelines of the MILEX-2025 exhibition in Minsk, the press service for the Belarusian State Authority for Military Industry said on Thursday.

"The working schedule of the second day of the work at the exhibit by Belarusian State Authority for Military Industry Chairman Dmitry Pantus ended in a meeting with Andrei Boitsov, deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation," the press service said in a statement.

"The culmination of the meeting was the signing of a roadmap of joint projects for comprehensive maintenance of aircraft equipment. The implementation of this document will help establish even closer relations between Belarus and Russia in the aircraft sphere, acquire new competencies and ensure long-term mutually comprehensive cooperation," the State Authority for Military Industry said.

The 12h international armaments and military hardware exhibition MILEX 2025 is taking place in Minsk on May 21-24. More than 150 companies from Belarus, the Russian Federation, China, Iran, Pakistan, and India are taking part in the exhibition this year.
