Russia, China have no military-political alliance, their bilateral relations surpass this form of interaction between states - Shoigu

MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - Russia and China mutually support each other on key matters, while not military-political allies, their bilateral relations surpass this form of interaction between states, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said.

"Moscow and Beijing provide each other with firm mutual support on matters that are key to both countries. Not being a military-political alliance, Russian-Chinese relations surpass this form of interaction between states," Shoigu said at a meeting with Chen Wenqing, a member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee.
